Antique Vanity Fair Chromolitho Print Sword Fencing Henry Stracey Scots Guards 1880 political plate Size: Stamped size 6 3/4This is a wonderful chromolitho print issued by Vanity Fair in 1880, original, not a reproduction it is accompanied by a separate text page that describes the subject of the caricature. Vanity Fair magazine published coloured caricatures of famous figures in British society from 1869 until 1914. The caricatures were primarily by artists Spy and Ape but also by others. This one is of Lieutenant Colonel Henry Stracey of the Scots Guards, an accomplished
